Stretch That Sh*t Out!

#womenshealth #healthandwellness #womensfitness #motivation #fitness

We get so tense throughout the day and are not aware of it until we're at a doctor's appointment, at the end of the day when we are about to go to bed, or when we reach to grab something and feel pain or resistance. Even in those moments of discomfort, many of us disregard or downplay the sensations of discomfort, pain, tightness, exhaustion, etc. We jump into another day as if our body resets from the trauma or burdens carried from the previous day. Let me be the one to tell you--- IT DOESN'T!

Your body is a temple and in this life, you only have ONE. Therefore, treat your body with love, and caress it with gentle touches and rubs. Stretch out the stress! Rotate your shoulders, and stretch your neck and your limbs. Rotate your hips and squat.

As you begin to stretch, you're energetically opening your energy points aka chakras, and releasing built-up emotions, clearing imbalances and memories that are heavy.

Simple stretches throughout the day can bring so much relief. Your body stores information. Information that can be traced back to childhood traumas, your belief systems, and subconscious patterns. Information that says,

"I'm tired, but who else is gonna do it."

"I'm not capable of taking a break because I have too much to do"

"I am behind already, how can I take a break?'

"They need me."

"I'll get rest later. This has to be done."

"No one cares."

"No one loves me, not even me."

"The last person who touched me, hurt me, abandoned me, ghosted me, abused me, touched me inappropriately."

STRETCH THAT SH*T OUT! Release the heavy burdens. Relinquish control. Surrender to the stretches, the rub downs. These activities are free. If you need inspiration the Internet has a plethora of resources, or you can check out your local yoga or exercise classes tailored to your liking.
